HOW CAN I LET YOU GO?

CHAPTER 2

Arnav stood there dumbstruck! 

Khushi….His Khushi, loved someone else? How could this be? Who was he? Was he handsome? Was he rich? Did he love her back? Did he make her feel……….. the way he thought, he made her feel? Did they see each other often? Where did they meet? How? Did he look at her with the same intensity ? Did he hold her with the same possessiveness? Did he……Had they kissed?

Her last words rang through his head. "I am only his…..mind, body and soul!"

He clenched his fists as his anger flared.

No way was he going to let her be with that guy! Heck…..she was his…only his! He loved her dammit!! And hadn't he thought she felt the same way about him too? The past week , all their encounters had led him to believe she felt something for him too. She never protested when he held her hand, nor did she backhand his attempts to flirt with her. Hell! She had even let him kiss her…and had gone ahead and kissed him back! 

A small voice in his head said,"It was all a challenge Arnav!"

Was it? Was, what he had seen wrong then? Had he assumed everything? The way her cheeks coloured…. the way her lips quivered…..her pupils dilated ……. What was all that? 

The voice spoke up again," Fear…she feels intimidated by you……congratulations…you achieved what you strived for from the beginning!"

What? Fear? Was that what it was? All the signs and indications? But he noticed it even when he was nice with her…not just when he was his demonic self……which was more often than not he admitted!  

No! He had seen it in her eyes….and it was not fear!It was something else…

The voice tried to speak up again but Arnav cut it off!

Well he would find out what it was. And albeit he would make her fall for him! Khushi Kumari Gupta would fall in love with him…and forget all about that other guy! He would make sure of it!

"Just wait and watch!" 

He flashed one of his famous smirks before heading down to the wedding .
