HOW CAN I LET YOU GO?

CHAPTER 4

The rest of the marriage seemed to go on without any hassle. Any physical hassle that is! Cause mentally two souls were completely tortured!

Arnav on one hand couldn't believe that Khushi...his Khushi....his naive, innocent, petite, beautiful, sexy....ahem...Khushi, was in love with someone else! 

Not once did the thought that, that someone else was him, cross his mind. Well you couldn't blame the guy! He was rather thick headed when it came to matters of the heart. He might have accepted that he loves her, but Arnav Singh Raizada still had a long way to go in that department ! And plus, its not like Khushi was exactly throwing hints at him that she was interested. Heck the woman had been running away from him the entire day! And so Mr Raizada was in a very bad (as usual) mood!

Khushi on the other hand was feeling hot all over! Arnav's stares had left her completely flushed. Uurgh! The man has no sharam! The way he was blatantly staring at her, and following her around like a shadow! What had come over him, she wondered. And to top it all off....she sort of liked it! Liked the attention she got from her Laad Governor! But she was scared. What sort of scheming was going on in that rakshas' head?

The marriage party had finished the bidaai and were now all ready for the Grih Pravesh . As Payal tossed the bowl and entered house in Aakash's arms, amidst all the catcalls and hoots, Arnav and Khushi played who will blink first game, walking beside the newly weds! Much to Shyam's distaste...and Anjali's glee!

"Chalo..abhi its time for the games!", shouted an excited Anjali, her voice snapping two couples out of the reverie! One that well had the right to...it was their wedding after all! The other..who was well...falsely hogging all the limelight, since you and I ...are more interested in them! (*wink*)

"Games?", asked a clueless Aakash. The only games his surprisingly dirty mind could come up where the ones he wanted to play with his wife ....tonight....in his...no their room....away from everyone else!

As much as he had a dirty mind though, Aakash was extremely innocent, and unlike his brother, he hadn't managed to master the art of tactfully placing a mask of indifference! Which is why Anjali and the rest took immense pleasure just then in pulling his leg, and turning him beet red, much like his saali!

Oh! And just why was the saali blushing so much? Cause she had read some blatant thoughts running in her Laad Governor's mind, that portrayed well in his eyes! He was undressing her then and there, as his eyes roved all over her, slowly..tantalizingly slow! She couldn't help but feel naked as she adjusted her pallu for the umpteenth time! 

The game...which involved fetching a ring from a bowl of milk....but actually gave a demo to Payal about what awaited her tonight , was over rather quickly.

The Guptas then bid a teary goodbye to their daughters. Daughters...as Khushi was staying over that night, just to make Payal feel comfortable. Or at least that is the excuse Anjali gave the Gupta seniors, when she saw the longing in her brother's eyes! She didn't miss the immediate brightening in them either! But completely missed the same longing mirrored in her filthy husband's eyes!

And so the Guptas bed goodbye to their daughters and the festivities came to an end....finally! Of Course the aftereffects...which included a crying Payal, a soothing Khushi and an ensuing pleading from Payal's side ,that Khushi sleep with her that night followed.

"Nahiiiiiii!!!!", shouted a melodramatic Aakash.

He sobered down at the shocked looks of his ma and nani, the amused looks of his bhai and di, and the rather accusing looks of his wife! Hell...it was just not his day! And ironically, it was his wedding!

" I mean, Payal, why do you have to sleep with her? I am there na?"

At that Anjali and NK burst out laughing unable to control anymore! The rest of the Raizadas and ..Jha, joined them. 

Khushi looked decently sheepish as she clutched her sister's hand and said," Jiju sahi hai jiji. Its your suhaag raat today! You need to be with him!"

Her innocent remark met with another round of guffawing , much to Payal's chargin!

"But Khushi, you have never slept alone! Tumhe dar laga tho?"

Khushi looked visibly disturbed at that thought. She had not thought this whole set up over. She was just so excited to be with her jiji, that she forgot all else!

Arnav so wanted to wipe that frown off her face...but more than that , he so wanted to pick her in his arms and take her to his room, away from all the prying, probing and sympathizing eyes! And he was about to say the same too when, thankfully , Anjali interrupted .

"Well I will sleep with you tonight Khushiji! I am sure Shyamji wouldn't mind!""

Shyam gaped at his wife as though she had lost it! How dare she gets to sleep with his Khushiji? Aargh! More reasons to hate that woman! But he knew he had to play it cool. ANd find out how this arrangement would benefit him.

"Why not Rani Sahiba!", he gleamed, as something struck him.

And so with that decided, everyone finally took pity on the groom and decided to speed things up a bit! 

What they didn't know was that ....raat abhi jawan hai....aur picture abhi baaki hai mere dosth!
